Attendance

Once a week in the evening, for a total amount of 8 weeks.

Price

You can join our first trial lesson and then decide if you want to sign up or not.
You will be asked to pay 15€ for the first trial class, and the other 145€ if you decide to sign in.

GOAL

Our course is for all those who wish to strengthen their German language with legal and administrative specific terminology and their application.

No previous legal education required.

If needed, Berlino Schule will provide a certificate of attendance.

TO WHOM THE COURSE IS ADDRESSED

The course is for all those who want to have familiarity with the bureaucratic language, contracts and German law. The course will focus on legal terminology, juridical texts, how to read and understand them.

REQUIREMENTS

At least a B1.2 level is required.

Classes are held by professional teachers with certified experiences in the field.

B. Juridical terminology.

I. Juridical lexicon
1. Civil Law (units 1-2)
2. Penal law (units 3-4)
3. Administrativ law (units 5-6)

Students will have the chance to learn the basis of the German legal terminology and get a better comprehension of legal texts, as well as concrete cases also by analyzing some sentences.

II. Analysis of the meaning of juridical German terms
This will be done through the analysis of texts related to the different fields of the German law, and will let the student understand the practical application of this terminology.

C. Explaination and application of the legal language structure.
In this part of the course (units 7-8) classes will be about the main syntactic constructions used in the juridical field. Juridical scripts, public documents and regulations and judgments will be analyzed in order to study its structure and make the comprehension easier.
Moreover, the teacher will be more than glad to use materials suggested by the students.
