    Sawing

Make your own skirt

During this workshop, students will try to create a skirt, which is a simple item to make, even for beginners. Participants will create the paper pattern, they will cut and sew the fabric according to basic procedures. During the last meeting, students will finish and decorate their own creation, by adding buttons, decorations, in order to give the skirt a unique touch.

For those who have already attended this course there is the possibility to make a different item, upon approval of the teacher. 

When

On Saturdays, from 18.30 to 20.00, for 6 weeks.

Sawing

The teacher

Christian Nola, 47 years old, is a fashion designer from Viareggio. In 1988 he started creating and producing his own clothing brand. Since 2006 he produced his own lingerie line.

Today he designs items for big stores in different Italian and international cities such as Rome, Milan, Berlin, Hamburg and Bruxelles. He stopped for some time his styling activity and started creating jewellery, glass sculptures, lamp-sculpture and tridimensional painting.

His works were exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Rome and Milan galleries. Christian has been living in Berlin for three years where he has been working on different items for his artistic and fashion creations.
